Lissa Hoprich earned her Bachelor's degrees in biology and psychology from Lycoming College in Pennsylvania. She went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Clinical Community Psychology with a minor in Program Evaluation from the University of New Haven in Connecticut. She completed her BCBA coursework at the Florida Institute of Technology.
Professionally, Lissa served as a behavior analyst at two firms in Virginia, where she played a pivotal role in establishing and developing their evidence-based ABA in-home programs. Subsequently, she founded her own early intervention evidence-based ABA clinics in Salem and Wytheville, VA. Alongside her husband, she managed this enterprise for over a decade before relocating to their native Pennsylvania. Currently, she offers her expertise as a consultant, leveraging her experience as both a behavior analyst and a former owner of ABA clinics.
Lissa is deeply passionate about the proper application of ABA. She is invigorated by witnessing the swift progress children and families can make. She emphasizes the importance of accurate data collection systems, diligently reviews data, and makes decisions rooted in evidence. Her goal is to work diligently to transition children to the least restrictive environment possible.
Outside of her professional life, Lissa cherishes moments with her family. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their two daughters, Piper and Selah, and their trio of pugs. Their family activities encompass hiking, kayaking, frequenting the beach, and indulging in reading.
An interesting fact about Lissa is that she is the eldest of eight siblings!
